You Say Tomato

This tomato fandango is starting to feel like the writer's strike. I just want to watch a new show eat a tomato!
How does a tomato get salmonella anyway?
And, Red Squirrel? It does not fill me with confidence that you are the only ones still serving tomatoes on your (super-delicious) double deckers. Okay, so maybe I didn't feel confident pre-tomato either but still.

  1. If a store or restaurant knows where they get their tomatoes, they will likely also know if they're at risk. That was why the big chains pulled them for a while -- too many tomato sources to know immediately. Red Squirrel is small enough that it probably knows from where it gets its produce. Or, they're completely oblivious.

  2. how weird is it that red squirrel has a .org address? kind of like they're doing a service to humanity.

  3. Ah, oblivious or responsible? With Red Squirrel you just can't be sure.
As for the org, they do provide humanity with deliciousness, even if it is questionable.
